Privacy policy

The short version
I ask for as little as I can, I use it only to send you what you asked for, and I never sell it. You can leave anytime.
What I collect
- Your first name and email address.
- The calculator inputs and results you choose to send me, like the starting balance and withdrawal rate you picked.
How I use it
- To send you your calculator results.
- To send you Route Notes, my educational emails about planning for retirement.
Who handles my email
My emails are sent through Kit (formerly ConvertKit). When you sign up, your name, email, and the results you sent are stored in my Kit account so the emails can reach you. Kit has its own privacy policy at kit.com/privacy.
Unsubscribing
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you're off the list, no questions asked. You can also email me and I'll remove you.
I don't sell your information
I don't sell, rent, or trade your name, email, or results to anyone.
Analytics and ads
I may use basic website analytics and ad pixels, such as those from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, to see how many people visit and whether my ads are working. These tools can use cookies and collect things like the pages you visit and the type of device you use. You can limit this through your browser settings and the ad settings in your Meta and Google accounts.
